communications Intern


This internship directly supports the work of TCP's Senior Communications Director and the Communications Coordinator. Communications interns work in a very fast pace environment involving media relations, research, Web site development, special events and publications.

The successful candidate possesses the following credentials and experience:

  • currently a junior or senior at a 4-year university or a current graduate student with a major in journalism, communications, political science or a related field
  • a strong researcher, writer and editor
  • interest and/or a track record in web-based communications (website, newsletters, social media)
  • excellent oral communications
  • able to multi-task with confidence; highly organized

This internship is unpaid, though TCP will support those applicants who are seeking academic credit through their home institution.
