Adrienne Lee Benson is an Associate for the Criminal Justice Program at the Constitution Project. Her portfolio includes death penalty reform, indigent defense, and sentencing policy at both the state and federal levels. Prior to joining the Constitution Project, Adrienne served as a law clerk for the Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs of the Senate Judiciary Committee. She possesses extensive experience in electoral politics, having worked on several political campaigns. Adrienne attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied political theory and worked as a research assistant in political science.
